She was Coordinator for the 28 precinct’s Law Enforcement Explorer Program from 2005-2009.
After retiring from the NYPD, Paula found a new found love for fitness and did a deep dive into personal & group fitness. She started with becoming a Zumba instructor and continued learning other fitness formats. She eventually was requested to be the Coordinator of Group Fitness at Union Avenue Community Fitness Gym in New Windsor, NY 2016-2018 where she also taught Zumba/Silver Sneakers/Strength Training/Chair Yoga, and was a personal trainer.
From 2018-2020 she also taught a Power Training class at Anytime Fitness Gym at two locations, Cornwall & Walden, NY.
She is a Certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise (Ace). Her other certifications include:
